Concept of Family hotels in French Polynesia
Family hotels are first and foremost a trip within the trip, and according to the chosen type of lodging, a total immersion in the daily life of a Tahitian family.

This is an occasion to share, see, hear, feel and taste life in the islands as if you were a distant parent finally coming back to the source. Some of you will go fishing on the lagoon with your hosts. Others will follow the children in their mountain explorations, looking for waterfalls and rock pools to bathe in. Still others will take their hosts’ advice and discover the local produce and cuisine, with their hosts sometimes joining them.

Tahitian small family hotels and guest rooms are the heart and soul of tourism in our islands. Living in our fare, made of traditional or modern materials, on often unknown but grandiose sites, and in the friendly and spontaneous warmth of Tahitian families, is a unique experience that fulfils the demands and needs of visitors for authenticity, conviviality, nature, quiet and intimacy, for discovery and space. It also is a way of participating in the improvement and preservation of our environment and cultural heritage.

And the poet sings:

- “Fare maòhi e, o òe ihoa òe, aita atu ai…
- “O Polynesian house, you are unique, like no other…”
